If you spend a lot of time at your desk (like most of us do these days!), you might notice your shoulders creeping forward, your chest feeling tight, and that familiar ache building between your shoulder blades. Our modern lifestyle has us leaning forward so often, over computers, phones, and even while driving, pulling our shoulders forward and rounding our upper back. This can leave us stiff, sore, and drained. So it’s no wonder our upper backs get cranky.

That’s why I absolutely love Supported Fish Pose. It feels like a gentle hug for the spine, providing it with a big sigh of relief! It’s one of my favourite ways to undo all that forward hunching, helping me feel more comfortable in my body.

I created a short video, showing you three different variations of Supported Fish, so you can choose the one that feels most nourishing in your body. Each option gives your spine a chance to gently lift and your chest a chance to open, helping to melt away some of the tightness you may be experiencing.

Pause to reset your posture, soften tension, and welcome in a bit more ease.

Your upper back will thank you.
