This practice is inspired by Gabrielle Harris' book titled The Language of Yin. We're going to explore 'Obstacles on the Path'. We'll observe tension and compression, both necessary sensations in a yin practice. Both tension and compression can stop you from going further in a pose. Tension can be worked through over time as you improve mobility in the body. Compression is structural and can't be changed, but we can adapt by moving around the roadblock and adjusting the body.
You will need: Have lots of props available to you for this one.
